Introducing the new Gravitis Grooming Scissors range
We are very pleased to be able to show you our new range of dog grooming scissors that we have recently added to our collection. Although most of our customers are buying products for dogs, we would like to point out that these precision pet trimmers are also suitable for trimming cats, rabbits, guinea pigs and any other kind of fluffy animal that needs a decent haircut!
We have 3 different types of scissors that are available as individual items and three sets of scissors, available in sets of 2, 4 or 5. All of our grooming scissors come complete with a sturdy zip case and a cleaning cloth included so that you can keep them in tip top condition in between uses and safely stored away from children and animals when not in use.
Dog Thinning Scissors
Our first new set of individual scissors is the Professional Dog Grooming Thinning Scissors. These black-handled dog blending scissors are ideal for creating texture or thinning out dense under coat and long tail hair or for a softer, blended finish when merging layers from long to short hair without any tell-tale lines.
Straight Scissors
Probably the most important pair of grooming scissors any groomer needs, our versatile Ambidextrous Straight Scissors can be used for everything from a quick trim to a longer cut. Great for creating shape, removing bulk or a precise finish at the end of a trim. If you are just starting to groom your pet then these are the best scissors for a beginner and should be your go-to pair when you see something that needs snipping. These new pink-handled straight scissors have been specially designed for right and left-handed dog groomers and can be used by both.
Up-Curved Scissors
These black-handled Ambidextrous Up-Curved scissors are designed to help shape the contours of any pet. They can be used to create curves in the fur or trim curved areas such as the head, belly, legs and feet. You can also use the scissors to create inverted curves, adding shape to the back of a leg or the curvature of the neck if you are clipping to match a particular breed standard. These scissors have been specially designed for right and left-handed dog groomers and can be used by both.
Dog Grooming Scissors Duo
The Gravitis Pet Supplies Professional Dog Grooming Scissors Duo set is made from durable stainless steel, which will not rust. Both pairs of scissors feature a soft close rubber pad, which reduces noise when clipping and also make them more comfortable to use. There is an adjustable screw to set the tension of the scissors to your preferred setting and rounded safety tips to help protect your dog from sudden movements. The handles are fitted with comfort grip rubber inserts for ease of use. These can be removed for cleaning or to accommodate larger fingers.

We’ve saved the best til last as we really love the colours of this funky Four Piece Grooming Set!
This set includes everything you need to give your dog a decent trim: Up-curved scissors, designed to suit the contours of your dog, a pair of thinning shears, straight scissors and a comb.
The thinning shears are ideal for thinning out dense undercoat or longer flowing hair. They can also be used for adding texture or blending in areas where the coat fades from long to short, creating a perfect, natural finish without leaving any lines. The blunt ends on these scissors prevent you from harming your dog by accident if they move suddenly.
The straight dog grooming scissors are made from rainbow-coated durable stainless steel with a silent soft close pad, an adjustable tension screw and a comfortable curved finger grip on the handle to support your hand during longer cuts.
The comb is ideal for combing out any knots and tangles and prepping longer hair for trimming.
